Welcome to Fast AAC! By downloading, accessing, or using the Fast AAC application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the App. You also agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Fast AAC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download and use the App in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Fast AAC operates entirely locally on your device. We do not host user accounts or cloud backups. You are solely responsible for securing your device and managing any device-level backups of your app settings or data. Fast AAC is not liable for any loss of data resulting from device failure, loss, or unauthorized access to your device.
Fast AAC respects your privacy. The App does not collect any personal data. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on our data-free approach.
Fast AAC offers a range of features designed to enhance communication. While we strive to ensure the functionality of the App, Fast AAC does not guarantee that:
Fast AAC is a communication aid and is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical, therapeutic, educational, or clinical advice.
All content within the App, including but not limited to custom images, tiles, code, text, layouts, and overall design, is the property of Fast AAC and its licensors. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or use of these materials is strictly prohibited.
Fast AAC is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fast AAC, its developers, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising out of your use of the App must be brought exclusively in the courts located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Fast AAC reserves the right to update or modify the App and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may terminate the license granted under these Terms if you violate them. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies in your possession.
